On Friday, Mama took me over to Khalielah's house so she could watch me for the morning while she finished stuff up at work. Mama said I was well enough to go to school but since it was already Friday and I had such a tough week, she felt more comfortable keeping me out of school for one more day since I could also have the weekend to get better. I had so much fun playing with Mahalia! Khalielah said I was a good girl, even though I really missed my mom!

I decided while I was sick that I hated my binkster so mama put them all away. I have even found some laying around the house and I take them over to one of my parents because I really don't want a binky anymore. =) Mama said she was so proud of me and very surprised at how quickly I took myself off of it. However, she said she is also said that one of the few "baby" things I had left is gone now too. Growing up is so fun!!!

You are such a big girl giving up your binky. We know it was probably easier while you were sick. Mema and Grandpa are very proud of you. You are letting everyone know that you are not a BABY any longer. :-(

aww! i just read this about the binky. your mommy told me when you came to my house that you weren't using it while you were sick, but i didn't know you stopped it COMPLETELY. what a big girl! you're much more mature than your friend mahalia. she just stopped her hoss-hoss (her name for binky) yesterday and it was really hard for her. i should have just asked you to tell her it was time to grow up! haha! you are too cute and i loved getting to spend time with you!! let's get together again soon...before your mama goes back to work? we love you!!
