Happy 2010!!

I just realized that this is my first post of the new year! Sorry about that! I have just been soooooo busy now that I am 8 months old. I am really good at crawling now, so I have a lot to explore at home! My favorite area is the entertainment center where there are so many pretty lights and wires! =) I can get over there really fast now if mommy or daddy leaves the room.

In addition to crawling, pulling myself up to standing, cruising along the couch, and trying to stand by myself, I have also received my first two teeth on the bottom. I was pretty crabby with the first one, but I handled the second one like a big girl! Mom is proud of my biggest improvement in the area of sleeping at night.....I have been sleeping from 7 pm until 6-6:30 when I have to get up to get ready for school.

It wouldn't be me if I went a month without getting sick. I got sent home from school on Thursday with a 102.2 fever. I felt really icky and fell asleep on mommy for 3 hours when I got home. Mama said she didn't mind because I haven't snuggled like that with her for a loooong time. My fever finally went away this morning, but I've apparently been cranky today, according to mom. I was screaming really loud at Target today and mommy had to get out of the store really fast. I just wanted to eat and take a nap. Wasn't in the mood to shop today.

It has been raining a TON in San Diego. The past week has been very gloomy. The sun finally came out today, which made me think about my super awesome trip to the park with mommy a couple of weeks ago. Here are some photos:





I'm not so sure about this whole swing situation....





I"m even more unsure about this grass situation. Maybe if mommy and daddy actually took care of our yard, I would get to experience what grass is!



Oooh, this swing is a little smaller and I like it! I'm concentrating on going really fast!




Phew, this is fun!



But so very tiring. I can even sleep facing outwards in my SleepyWrap. I fell asleep on the walk home!
